Friends Talk is an open blog that welcomes interaction not only with Friends of One members, but also with anyone who is seeking to know and understand why we are here in this world and learn to recognize that we live in a world that is dominated by lies and ignorance that denies happiness and the freedom to be what we are, which is Pure Consciousness free from fear and limitation.
Were we Duped
How old is this Universe and are there other unknown universes? We cannot know because our science does not have the means to know the extent of its Being. We can measure the Earth’s existence in billions of years, however, some of us choose to believe that the earth and the universe were created just over four thousand years ago, based on the writing of a man called Moses, and then we based our knowledge of creation of a couple of human beings that were created by Moses’ fantasy and description of who begat who in the rise of humanity.
Unfortunately, over many thousands of years right up to this century, still believe that the universe was created by a God of Moses’ choosing. It is beyond all reason for anyone to accept that fictional story. Such is the illusion that has been accepted as the word of a God.
It is so delusional for us not to question that the Egyptian civilization stretches beyond seven thousands of years ago, and dismissing the prior civilizations before them.
As well, we have no knowledge to support what preceded the Egypt prior to the morphing of the present human form.
When did the Gods first come into existence in human consciousness? A very long time before Jehovah, who was a recent figure in history, and one that has declined in importance nowadays.
Have you ever moved through your mind and consciousness outside the realm of acceptance of worldly truth or our existence? And do you believe that somehow or other that one of the many Gods that created you and your body and mind out of the clay and dust of the Earth?
And what did this so-called God, who punished the enemies of those who opposed his believer’s create a universe that had no direct contact with the inhabitants of earth? Can anyone or anything create something out of nothing? And what did he use to keep the universes running? Batteries?
We think that we have reached a state of knowing and understanding from what our planet reveals about its nature and function, and that there are no batteries. We are aware that there is something universal that maintains the presence of everything that this universe consists of, and that is the Pure Consciousness of Being.
And, what is it that constitutes Being? It is the Light of Awareness which is eternal and shines on all manifest objects and forms within the universe that reveals the Truth and presence of consciousness. Without consciousness nothing would manifest or exist. So, who or what are you? – consciousness.
