Being Grounded
We often talk about the illusion in our blogs. Today I want to suggest that in our world consciousness, we may think of ourselves experiencing our world as living in a glass jar, where everything appears to be happening outside the jar and our life is coloured by what we experience inside the jar.
However, we are unaware that something separates us from seeing the reality beyond the jar because as glass we see straight through it.
Because our world is seen beyond the glass barrier, which is slightly dirty, what we think we see is not clear.
There is nothing we can do to change whatever is happening outside the glass because they are thoughts and images projected from the mind.
Why then do we believe that what we see is something tangible other than a thought?
Everything in our lives is based on memories that are stored in the mind. Do we consider that the mind not only contains thoughts and consciousness but also some of our deep-seated memories? We do know that our basic everyday memories are stored in the brain and that is not a problem because the brain sifts through them when we sleep and have dreams.
When we set about remembering different experiences in what we call the past we find that they are attached to forms and objects, and memories become active when we are confronted by similar events.
Let’s consider that we are confronted by something that we have never confronted before, and have no memories of its existence. What would we do? It could be anything such as an alien who landed on the earth or a ghostly apparition, or anything, and if we were to relate it to another person we most likely be told we were just seeing things such as a rope and thinking it was a snake. Otherwise, it was only our imagination playing tricks on us.
What has been said here can also be related to trying to see the invisible manifestation beyond our body and its consciousness. Such as a soul, Light Essence or the ‘I” that we are, because we cannot use our senses and brain beyond the physical world.
When we assume to know something outside our existence it is only through our imagination that we can only relate it to a physical manifestation.
We have to be that consciousness to be aware of its presence.
As such we know nothing about the Truth and reality of what is in any other way, for to think that we can is only fantasy and imagination.
